Presentation Title: Beyond a Facebook Page: the challenges of trading online for SMEs
Synopsis:
This talk will review the typical challenges facing SMEs who look to the internet as an opportunity to expand their business by trading online. Approximately 30% of Irish SMEs trade online – and that is one of the highest levels in Europe. What are the lessons to be learnt from others who have traded online? And, in a world where the large tech companies dominate access to internet users, how can an SME business best use the opportunities and overcome the challenges this presents.
