Niall is responsible for all of the legal aspects of Wayra UK, Wayra Social Ventures and Wayra in Ireland. This means that he is responsible for negotiating, managing the terms of all Wayra’s investments (including any subsequent rounds, exits and other shareholder matters) and Wayra’s partnerships. He has worked with Wayra since 2014, which has allowed him the benefit of seeing the future of technology. Niall enjoys the culture of Wayra, and the great team in it, including being at the forefront of innovative change, societal inclusion, economic growth and cultural progression. This has allowed him to maintain this ethos in all the legal interactions, including with Wayra’s investments and partners, without sacrificing the demands associated with these fast-paced sectors. Niall is also responsible for all of the legal aspects of Telefónica group operations in Ireland. He advises the boards on operations, company law matters and the negotiation of multi-jurisdictional high value transactions (Telefónica inter-group finance worldwide) within Telefónica’s Global Group Finance Organisation. He is a director of Wayra Ireland Limited, Telefonica’s group company secretary for all of Ireland’s companies and until recently he was a director of O2 Investments Ireland, O2 Communications and Telefónica Digital Ireland
